In customer service, even small interactions can significantly impact a company’s reputation and customer loyalty. While methods such as messaging and chat support have become more prevalent, phone communication remains one of the preferred methods for customers.
To address this, I designed this microlearning course which introduces four actionable strategies that customer service representatives can immediately implement for a noticeable improvement in customer calls.
This short, focused format provides a quick, fun, and accessible refresher to reinforce learning objectives from prior training, while encouraging ongoing practice and skill retention.
Content Design: I distilled essential customer service strategies into four easy-to-remember tips to keep the course concise and impactful. This overview format supports quick implementation, aiming to deliver high-impact content within a short learning window.
Development in 7taps: I used 7taps to create an engaging, visually driven microlearning experience that users could complete in minutes. 7taps allowed for rapid development, intuitive navigation, and optimized delivery across devices, making the content accessible and easy to revisit.
Reinforcement Strategy: To enhance retention, I envisioned this microlearning module as a follow-up to more comprehensive customer service training. Delivered a few days after the main training, it could serve as a spaced learning tool to reinforce key points and encourage skill application.

This was a project I did for fun and to explore a new development tool option. I found 7taps particularly valuable for its speed and ease of use, making it an ideal tool for delivering focused, engaging microlearning experiences.
A microlearning approach offers a flexible, cost-effective way to reinforce skills and encourages spaced practice to reduce the forgetting curve. Learners can complete microlearning courses like this one at their convenience, on their phones, helping boost knowledge retention.
